Moiras art exhibition in aid of ME research

Here are some of the photos from our art exhibition organised by Moira in her garage, as part of Aberdour festival weekend, which is a wonderful fun-filled weekend of activities from morning 'till night and a gathering of all clans of all ages in the the community. Moira is my friends twin sister who is a very special woman but unfortunately is having to deal with a severe form of ME.... 50% of all sales went to ME research. All artwork here has been done by individuals who have health problems and find expression through art eases some of that pain. The forth and fifth photos are artwork by clients of 'Re-create' special needs group, and we were all especially delighted for Arthur who sold his first piece of art. Arthur's piece which is hanging from the ceiling in photo four was painted using only his head....the brush gets attached to a copper pipe on his specially fitted helmet, and we watch in awe as Arthur paints his masterpiece. Arthur's only form of communication is by eye contact and he uses this method to choose his colours etc....
