Obamas victory has lit up spirits worldwide.
His speech was by far the best I've ever heard, did post the video but someone removed it huh!.....Wow what a confident, passionate, articulate, wise, compassionate, genuinely powerful man.....I have never been so moved by a speech in my life and the expressions of relief and joy in America sent ripples worldwide. This man is the whole worlds Gem of humanity and unity.....and the fact that he is extremely handsome only matters slightly!!!
I'm reading one of his many books at the moment...I read it in the evening and my son is engrossed with it at other times of the day as part of his modern studies project. "Dreams from my father" is an exceptionally beautiful and emotional memoir peppered with the most original metaphors. Barack retraces the migration of his mother's family from Kansas to Hawaii, then to his childhood home in Indonesia. He speaks bluntly of the racism he encountered and of his ambivalence towards his father. The story reveals his remarkable determination of spirit overcoming many obstacles, unquestionable courage and literary genius.
