Looking at the reflection before me
Shape, form, contours,
Shades of yesterday
Of a face I’ve seen before, but what do I see?
Look into the eyes I hear
Deep, dark bottomless pools of mystery
Soul haunted by the terror of history.
Breaking free is always, so hard
Cut the cord! Feel it, own it, of course!
See what you really want to see!
Feel what you really want to feel!
Always be who you really want to be.
Mountains to climb and stars to touch.
Not imagining it’s ever too much
To see the light of day again
And the loving feeling, of being your own friend
Moving on to a more peaceful place
Avoiding the turbulent, manic, rat race
D.N.A filtering makes it all sing
Ultimately helping me do the right thing
So pride filled ego, I cast you away
To sabotage these things would make your day.
Fiery arrows, warriors spears
Casting away all those fears.
Fire south with the dragon!
To a red hot summer
Imagination, dedication
Motivation and faith
Determination, inspiration
With courage and love.
Hope intuitively sized, like a hand sewn silk glove.
Pregnant with ideas to create and explore
Plenty of signs we cannot ignore
Do you feel happy when on your own?
