Poem His Eyes by Lorna Cameron

His Eyes

His eyes

Dancing with the flight of the eagle
Yet so tender, so gentle.
But filled with a passion, unrivalled
A lust, unreserved.
A love, unmeasured.
So pure…and true Priceless today
in the humdrum of fast grab media love!

His eyes Swinging with the flight of the monkey
From tree to tree
Stronger that ten of the same size.
Mischievous.
But honest, his eyes
Never jaded; except from loss
Occasionally
but always Bright blue, with determination.

Alive are his eyes!
Quite rare today
In the shuteye, of the blind!
Comfort springs from the well of his positivity
Coiled round kindness.
A prince.
A soldier.
A man of distinction!
