Bitter sweet

Bitter sweet

It’s all that I wished for and more
At best formidable, for sure!
And everything I’d dreamed of before
Can’t believe it’s here at my door

Stitching up the gaps of the past
Cascading the rapids on fortunes raft
Learning curves of murdered truth
The innocent blame naivety of youth

The guilty tend to close their eyes
Convenient how the unconscious one lies
Rebellious nature, fruitless heart
Don’t mean a thing when you’re back at the start

And in the beginning when there was no end
When everything’s possible and fragile hearts mend
Utilising resources, reflections of loss
It’s the heart of the matter that matters the most

True happiness can’t be achieved all alone
And risks not worthwhile in the comfort zone
Comfort weaves its threads of contentment
Through molecules of madness and insane interventions

As nature becomes nurture and visa versa
And execution proceeds mass hysteria
Barren lands will bear fruits in abundance
With utopian societies developing their sun dance!
