Respect

WHAT DOES THE WORLD SEE IN OUR EYES?

ARE WE THE SAME TODAY, AS YESTERDAY?
DO WE STAND FOR RESPECT, AND HONOR?

IS OUR CHARACTER STRONG?
OR DOES OUR EYES CHANGE WITH OUR HUNGERS?
DO WE BECOME A PAINTED FACE?
AND STAND FOR WHATEVER IS COMFORTABLE.

A LESSON ON RESPECT, CHARACTER, & HONOR

When we show our respect for other living things, they respond with respect for us.

Arapaho Proverb

Respectfulness is the concern for a harmonious relationship with your family, friends and all other people in a society, respect should be a natural response of politeness which can not be demanded. The true identification of respectfulness values others for who they REPRESENT, with a concern NOT to look down onto other people. Respect for ourselves guides our morals; respect for others guides our manners. Respect yourself if you would have others respect you. There is no respect for others without humility in one's self. They cannot take away our self-respect if we do not give it to them. We must build a new world, a far better world - one in which the eternal dignity of man is respected. When men and women are able to respect and accept their differences then love has a chance to blossom.

Reputation is what men and women think of us; character is what God and angels know of us. A person reveals his character by nothing so clearly as the joke he resents. The best index to a person's character is (a) how he treats people who can't do him any good, and (b) how he treats people who can't fight back. Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking. Our own heart, and not other men's opinions, forms our true honor. Reputation is what the world thinks a man is; character is what he really is. Reputation is the shell a man discards when he leaves life for immortality. His character he takes with him.

You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of. We all have ability. The difference is how we use it. We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee. To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.

To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.

Upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.

Our attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us. There are two primary choices in life; to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them. Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. I believe that we are solely responsible for our choices, and we have to accept the consequences of every deed, word, and thought throughout our lifetime. Heaven on earth is a choice you must make, not a place we must find.

WANT TO FLY LIKE AN EAGLE? YOU HAVE TO BE THE EAGLE!

Humankind has not woven the web of life we are but one thread within it. whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together All things connect. ...

WHEN YOU OFFER THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP, AND LOVE TO OTHERS, INCLUDE A NEW GIFT, CALLED RESPECT. FOR WITHOUT RESPECT, THERE IS NO LOVE, AND FRIENDSHIP BECOMES TAINTED. UNREAL, LIKE THE PAINTED FACES.

WALK IN BALANCE, WITH HONOR, LOVE, AND RESPECT FOR ALL.

Law of attraction

Law of Attraction says, "That which is like unto itself is drawn."

Once you activate a vibration within you, Law of Attraction begins responding to that vibration, and you're off and running—whether it's something wanted or unwanted.

Law of Attraction, and when it is said to you, "Ask, and it is given," there is no more powerful statement that is at the basis of what makes things happen.

Everything is valid and everything is truthful, because Law of Attraction lets everything be.

Within the seed of your desire is everything necessary for it to blossom to fulfillment, and Law of Attraction is the engine that does the work.

If you will relax and allow Law of Attraction to do the organization, the managing, then you can spend your time doing the things that please you

Don Nicolson Brand New Day

Check out Dons website ...www.myspace.com/donseventy7.... I love his voice...lyrics and melodies. He's also such a sweet guy.

I met Don and some other great musicians a few weeks ago at an art exhibition we were invited to at continental style cafe Poppies. What a wonderful evening and again so lovely to connect with more altruistic souls!

Aside from the culinary delights dished up by Marcin and his sister Gosha (originally from Poland) are encouraging social enterprise for artists, promoting creativity and exhibiting Art from www.thepoppiescafe.co.uk... soon to be transformed into bistro. My friend Marcin has such enthusiasm and plenty exciting ideas for development. It was a cosy evening as we huddled together with Saxophonist, keyboard player, guys with assorted djembis and bongos belting out the beats and rhythms from primal depths. Initially there was a Mediterranean feel to the atmosphere then branching out with African beats and rhythms.

The whole evening was food for the soul from start to finish as we all sat round singing then dancing inspired by the ambience of wider community spirit, more than half of the guests were guys from various pockets of Europe and beyond. I was in my element socializing with such kindred spirits where time and inhibitions are left behind, as music is so much a part of everyones being.

Tribute music

Yaaay I just got a letter today from forward press, to say I got another poem published in a book called 'THE ART OF LIFE' anchor books. I'm just about ready to go to the publishers now with my novel.... More creations on the horizon as we've been given the opportunity to do another art exhibition, with the special needs groups creations and our own work. We have been given a lot of gallery space for second week in November...So it's going to be a exciting time now experimenting with other mediums and some fresh ideas.
